“The serviceman, George, and his apprentice, Chris, arrived on time and were very professional. They had to open the basement ceiling to get at the issue and were able to evaluate and re-route the piping to make the tub drain perfectly. And, the toilet leaky parts were replaced as well. I am very happy with the result and would definitely recommend them to anyone with easy or more difficult plumbing needs!”

“Fantastic experience. Jan was very responsive, his communication throughout the process was terrific. He was able to get the project done quickly before upcoming predicted rain event. Will definitely use Vanguard as my go to plumbing professional!”

“George did a great job! I had two drains that were blocked. George was able to clear one relatively quickly with his power rodder. The second drain prove to be a challenge. He worked on it diligently and used a variety of techniques to try to clear the clog. He didn’t give up until the clog was cleared. To my relief I didn’t have to replace the plumbing behind the wall thanks to George’s ingenuity. I’m very pleased…”

“I have used Vanguard plumbing 3 times and every time they have done very quality work. Most recently my sewer drain was backing up and it turned out that the city pipe in the street was broken. Vanguard setup a meeting with city inspector and provided evidence of the problem and it got taken care of.”

“Jan and his team were great. Took the time to answer my questions. They were on time and came in under the estimate because it didn’t take as long to complete the work. Would definitely hire them again and would recommend to anyone.”

“I’ve had Vanguard plumbing out twice. They have been professional, thorough, provided options and prompt. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs.”

“Overall, I had a positive experience with Vanguard Plumbing. My toilet finally started showing its age and needed to be rebuilt. Plumbers arrived on time and stuck to the agreed-upon proposal of time-to-complete the job as well the total cost of labor and parts (so there were no unexpected surprises when the work was finished).”

“Jan and his team are top notch. They can handle anything, I’m very happy with the quality of their work. Jan is very responsive and will answer any questions – he doesn’t try to up-sell and is very honest.”

“Excellent, incredibly professional and prompt service. Had them quote some other projects which we will have them back for. Really neat clean work by George and Chris definitely knew what they were doing. Jan the owner was responsive from the very first phone call to them and confirmed all aspects of the work, even followed up afterwards to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Perfection plus.”

“Vanguard was fantastic! While replacing a garbage disposal at my rental unit, I snapped one of the drain pipes. I called Vanguard (spoke with Jan) and sent them some pics of the under sink area. Jan gave me a fair quote and was able to come out the next day. He was on time, super nice and did an excellent job. Final cost came in under the quote. After he was done he even cleaned the work space and provide some education as to where the unit water shut off was located. All in all very happy with the work. I would absolutely hire again!”

“Excellent service from Vanguard, once again: their plumbers were absolutely professional, and did a great job of communicating with me and coordinating with the electrician to handle the hookup for a very powerful unit.”

“George and his apprentice were punctual and professional. George explained everything plain English and fixed all of the problems. Although Vanguard Plumbing was very expensive, they are trustworthy which makes the cost worthwhile.”

“On Thursday December 12th I had a leak under my sink. Over the phone Jan was able to troubleshoot the issue and diagnosed it as my garbage disposal was worn out and leaking water. Jan was able to come out the next day and install a new Insinkerator Badger 5 Garbage Disposal and that solved my issue. Very happy with the high-quality work and I defiantly would use Vanguard Plumbing and Sewer again for my future plumbing needs.”

“Jan’s team showed up exactly on time. They were efficient and knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations. Their communication was clear throughout the process – making sure we understood ahead of time what would would be required and how much it would cost. We will be returning to them in the future.”
